Our journey
From a winning weekend prototype to an ecosystem product
FadäRhy started as a hackathon answer to a question every Basel founder asks: who should I talk to next?

Hack am Rhein 2026 · Overall winner
Five people, one weekend, first place
Team Hack After 25 met Friday at the University of Basel library. Over the weekend, they built Ariadne, “De Fadä durch Basel” for the “Discover the Basel Life Sciences Ecosystem” challenge and shipped a working prototype by Sunday. They were named OVERALL WINNER of the first Hack am Rhein 2026.
A knowledge graph of real Basel organisations provides the results. The language model explains verified results; it does not invent them.
The team kept building. Ariadne became FadäRhy — the same thread, now in private pilot.

After the hackathon
Graph first, AI second
We kept building: a live knowledge graph of the ecosystem, matching where every result cites its source, voice and text input, and drafted introduction emails. The language model explains verified results; it does not invent them.

Beyond Basel
More cantons in the graph
The data now reaches beyond Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft into several other Swiss cantons.

October 2026
Ariadne becomes FadäRhy
The same thread, with a name rooted in Basel: Fadä is the thread, Rhy is the Rhine. A new home at fadarhy.ch.

Now
First pilots
We are talking with programmes, universities and regional agencies to run the first founder cohorts.
